Getting in the Flow

Get in the flow of the River of Life in advance of taking an action.  All will benefit in a fantastic way. Everything you do should be of a Divine nature.  Every moment is a Divine moment.  Every decision is an important, fantastic decision.    Everything is important.  Every breath you take is Divine.

With this perspective, there is a deep knowing of, “I am in the right place at the right time, doing and saying the right thing for the good of all.”  You may want to add this to your prayers.  Or you may want to try this: “Thank you, God, for Thy Oneness and for the flow of Thy Light and Love.  Thy will be done.  Thank you, God, for Thy mission being done through us perfectly, in every way.  Thank you, God, for the Christ manifesting moment by moment, in each of our lives, in order that there be Divine Light.  Thank you, God, for our being in the right place at the right time, doing and saying the right thing for the good of all.  Amen.”  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

The Seven Steps To Effective Prayer

THE SEVEN STEPS TO EFFECTIVE PRAYER

Jim Goure wanted to develop a short, simple prayer that anyone could use and that could be memorized easily.  Above all else, it had to be effective.  It had to be a prayer that got results.  Over the years, this prayer acquired several names: The Effective Prayer, The Seven Steps to Effective Prayer, the Light Prayer, and oftentimes simply “the prayer.”

1.     I release all of my past, negatives, fears, human relationships and loved ones, self-image, future, human desires, sex, judgment, communications, money, and concepts of religion to the Light.
2.      I am a Light being.
3.      I radiate the Light from my Light center throughout my being.
4.      I radiate the Light from my Light center to everyone.
5.      I radiate the Light from my Light center to everything.
6.      My whole being is in a bubble of Light and only Light can come to me and only Light be here.
7.      Thank you, God, for everything, for everyone, and for me.

Oneness with the Divine

Let go of your desires.  The Divine is Life itself.  Be Divine and create Life in everyone and everything.  Create more Love.  Create more Light.  So that everyone becomes more Love and more Light.

Become pure Light.  Be Divine.  Every moment of your existence, declare Divinity throughout your beingness.  Declare your reality.

To help you be that reality, here’s a prayer of Oneness with the Divine: “I am One.  And this One is all that exists.  I am in all things.  I am in all that is.  I create more Love in everyone.  I speak deep within, ‘I love you.’  I create Life, abundant Life, in everyone and everything.   Thank you.  Amen.”  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Prayers of Thanksgiving

Thank you, God, for Thy Love, Thy Divine love, flowing forth from Thy center in me to everyone and everything.  Thank you, God, for Thy Divine Love being present in everyone and everything.  Thank you, God, for the flow of Thy Divine Love from everyone and everything to everyone and everything.  Thank you, God, for making it so.  Amen.

Thank you, God, for Thy Love in us.  Thank you, God, for this Thy Love, flowing forth from us to each other.  Thank you, God, for this Love and Light flowing forth into our whole area, filling everyone and everything with Thy Love and Light.  Thank you, God, for this Light and Love flowing forth from Thee within us to our country, to every person and every thing so that the government rests upon the shoulders of Thee.  Thank you, God, for Thy Light and Love filling our planet, so that everyone and everything is filled with Thy Light and Love.  And Earth becomes a planet of radiance, a planet of Light and Love.  And this radiance flows out to everyone and everything in the universe.  And thus everyone and everything in the universe sends Divine Love back to Earth.  And everyone and everything on Earth becomes universal and aware of loving.  And thank you, God, for making it so.  Amen.

Thank you, God, for this togetherness.  For the unity and love, for the oneness, for being.  Thank you, God, for more awareness of Thee.  And thank you, God, for the love flowing between us and filling our beings.  Amen.   (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Divine Love

God’s Love is entirely different from human love.  God’s Love is never held back.  It is given one hundred percent.  It is one hundred percent everywhere.  It exists in and around people, in and around cockroaches, in and around Earth – in and around everything!

God’s Love does not depend on anything.  It does not increase when one is “good,” nor is it held back when it is not returned.  You can accept it or not.  It is just there.  It just exists.  Divine Love is simply here, in and around everything, all the time.

You are Divine, and therefore you are Divine Love.  Be Divine Love by affirming, “The Light in me gives Divine Love to you and to everything.”  Or, “God in me gives Divine Love to you and to everything.”  Or simply, “God in me gives Divine Love.”  The more you practice being Love, the more it becomes a reality.  The reality of Divine Love is that it radiates in all directions from you.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

A New Life

The living Christ is the new order of man.  Declare, ”The Creator in us frees us of our patterning and our concepts of life and of people.  We establish a new Divine mission, a new order, a new order of man.  Thank you, God, for making it so.”

Get into being this new type of person.  You will enjoy life a lot more this way.  You will feel more alive than you ever have.  You will welcome each moment as the living Christ.  You will awaken to the power you really have.  It’s fantastic.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Creating World Peace

War consciousness keeps man in a retarded condition.  It is a tremendous pollution that pervades the very structure of Earth.  It reaches within the planet to a depth of 3,000 to 4,000 miles.  It’s in every cell and atom.  It’s in the air and in the atmosphere and in one another.  Let’s say that a billion people have been killed in wars since planet Earth began.  In all of these, fear has emanated at the time of death; and this fear of war is everywhere.  The fear of dying and of being killed in war is all around us, and it surrounds Earth.  When we die with these emotions, the mass thought becomes powerful and other people get caught in those fear vibrations.

However, we can change all of this.  We can change that fear consciousness to Light.  We can replace war consciousness with Peace, Light, and Love.  We can create Peace within our genes and within our innermost selves.   One way to do it is to say, “The Creator in me creates Light, Love, and Peace throughout my being.  The Creator in me replaces the war consciousness throughout my being with Peace.  The Creator in me replaces the war consciousness around planet Earth and in all peoples of the Earth with Peace.  The Creator in me creates Peace in every atom, every cell, every gene, and every kingdom that exists on planet Earth.”   (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Release Your Past

To free yourself from the bondage of trauma and fear, make statements such as:

§        “I release all of my traumas from all of my past to the Light.”
§        “I release all matters of death, all matters of hurt, and all matters of trauma to the Light.”
§        “I release anyone I may have hurt in any way to the Light.”
§        “I release anyone who may have hurt me in any way to the Light.”
§        “I am free.  I am totally free.  Only Light is here.”

If you will work on these things, then you will free yourself.  When you can say, “I’m free,” then you are a Christed being and so it is. (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Work as the Divine

Worldly things such as work seem to be distractions.  We tend to put down the workaday world.  But Work is a Divine attribute.  And once we get into the consciousness that all of us are working together with the Creator, then we know, “I must help you accomplish your Divine Mission.”  Not only must I help you, but more than that, I must increase you.  How do I increase you?  I increase Love.  I increase Light.

We think we are controlled by the need to work for money.  Working for a boss or for money is not truth.  The truth is that you are the Creator, and the boss is the Creator.  Both of you are working for the Creator in your own ways.  Therefore, there is no control  There is only Love.

The more you work for the Creator within, the more you give Love.  The more you give Love, the more you truly live.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Loving Yourself

Declare, many times every day, “I love me.  I love the total me.”   If you had done this every day of your life from the moment you were born, you would be a different being.  But start now.  Say, “I love me.  I love the total me” one hundred times a day.  Then, declare, over and over, “I am fantastic.  I am a really great person.”  You can say that to yourself, but if anyone asks you how you feel, just reply, “Fantastic!” – no matter how sick you are.  The body complies with whatever you declare.  All these years you’ve been rejecting your body.  Now you need to work hard to change both your conscious and subconscious thoughts.

The next step is to love every part of your body: “I love my eyes.  I love my brain.  I love my feet.  I love my stomach.  I love my liver.”  Do this every day and you will be renewed and revitalized.  You are loving yourself Divinely, and the power of this can change every part of you.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

The Christ Within

As Jesus showed us, a Christed being is different from one who wants everything for self.  The Christed being has broken free of self.  The Christed being serves all of mankind.  This is the key to becoming the Christ.

You can begin being the Christ by saying silently, “The Christ is now alive and well in me, whole and complete.  The Christ in me is accomplishing my Divine mission.  The Christ in me is accomplishing this Divine mission, which is good for all of man.”  As soon as we begin to help all of man, we start to become the Christ.

Another prayer for declaring the Christ within is: “The Christ in me fills my being with Light and Love.  The Christ in me fills everyone with Light and Love.  The Christ in each of us merges us with each other.  We are One.  And from this Oneness, the Christ fills Earth with Light and Love.  The Christ fills the universe with Light and Love.  The Christ brings Oneness with the Creator, with the Creator in each one.” (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Decision Making

Even simple decisions -  Should I go to the right?  To the left?  Or straight? - let even these be decisions from the Divine within.  Every day you are making decisions that seem to affect only you.  But if you go about this haphazardly, you may have missed a Divine opportunity.

When decisions will affect others dramatically, these decisions must come from deep prayer, rather than from selfish desires or self-aggrandizement.  A dramatic decision that affects other people can only be rendered after much prayer and consideration, including input from people attuned to other possibilities, people who are on the pathway to the Christ.

Get in the flow of the River of Life in advance of taking an action.  All will benefit in a fantastic way. Everything you do should be of a Divine nature.  Every moment is a Divine moment.  Every decision is an important, fantastic decision.    Everything is important.  Every breath you take is Divine.

With this perspective, there is a deep knowing of, “I am in the right place at the right time, doing and saying the right thing for the good of all.”  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Creating Peace

Most people in the world today recognize the great need for peace.  Murder is repugnant to everyone.  But when nations go to war, we don’t consider killing to be murder.  Then, killing becomes a Cause – a Cause worth fighting for and supposedly blessed by God.  We have a Christian commandment to love our neighbors.  And yet, Christians have fought Christians.  It doesn’t make sense.

Our Ultimate Purpose

The ultimate goal of each person is Oneness with the Father.  Jesus said, “The things I do you can do and greater.”  He also said, “I and my father are one, yet the Father doeth the works.”  This gives us a goal, a Divine mission in itself.

We should be helped and trained from before conception, during birth and early childhood, to accomplish that mission.  Not only should the parents help, but if there are siblings, they should also help.  Everyone should help that child know and achieve his or her Divine mission. (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Balancing Male and Female

The male and the female are in each of us.  Every individual on the planet is a combination of male-female within themselves.  The average male is seventy percent male and thirty percent female.  The average female is seventy percent female and thirty percent male.

The true objective for each one of us is to be totally balanced, male and female.  Not fifty-fifty, but one hundred percent of each: one hundred percent female and one hundred percent male.

We limit ourselves by adopting male or female traditions.  To say that you are a male or a female is a limitation.  It binds everyone.  Every time we do that we bind our fellow man.  We are declaring, “Stay down and be in your two-by-four body.”  That must change.  It must change into the realization of true man – not male or female but balanced male-female, in each person.  There are no two-by-four bodies in Divine Beinginess.  The only reality is that of Light, of Love, of Spirit, Joy, and Mind – all of the Divine attributes merged into one: that is you!  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Finding Your Divine Mission

How do we find out what our Divine mission is?  The Divine reveals all. The how-to is: every day say, “The Divine in me reveals my mission” or “The Creator within reveals my Divine mission to me.”  It will be revealed.  It will come to you.  It has to!  The Creator does not reject anyone.

To receive and then start doing your Divine, Christed mission, declare, “The Christ in me reveals to me my Divine mission.  The Christ in me accomplishes my Divine mission today.”

Each person’s Divine mission is distinct.  Your Divine mission may be simply to love your mate or to learn to love a mosquito Divinely. Learning how to love something like a mosquito may be the first thing that comes to you as a Divine mission, because once you learn how to love, truly love, Divinely love anything, then you can move on to some fantastic things.  Or it may be that you are given the mission of loving Divinely a whole continent or the entire planet.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

The Creator in Daily Life

Putting the Divine into daily life requires just a little switch of consciousness to this: “All that is is Divine.”  You can say, “I know the Divine is in action in everyone.  I know the Divine brings this person to me for more understanding of the Divine.  For growth.  For love.  For giving.  For giving Light.  For giving Love.  Whoever comes into my presence, ‘I hold to the fact that it is the Divine doing it.  Not me.’”

Instead of saying, “I have to…go home, take a shower, go to work, etc.,” put the Divine into it first: “The Divine is at work.  The Divine is in the car, the shower, etc.  The Divine is in operation.”  This frees you from the tensions of having to do anything. (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Communicating with Angels

Because of humanity’s awakening, more and more of the angelic kingdom is coming to Earth.  We need to be able to see these beings on a higher plane in order to communicate with them and in order to allow the flow of Light to accomplish more.  Once you being to communicate with them, once you open the door for them, they can establish a channel of Light to you.

Radiating the Light from your Light Center [solar plexus area] to the psychic center of your body [in the center of your forehead, between your eyebrows] and holding that Light there brings you an ability to see and communicate with angelic beings.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Be Here Now

Let go of all things in the past.  Accept only the new Earth, one of Goodness and Light.  It is time to release the old, to release the past, and to concentrate on the now of your life.  There is no future.  There is no past.  Everything that is exists now.

The Light within radiates from you to each one you meet.  You are the example to the world.  This is a new age, a new Earth.  Begin to see the Light within everyone and everything – for it truly is there!  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Moving Forward

We run into stumbling blocks everywhere we go – until we get on the pathway of Light.  So we get on this pathway of Light, and we begin to grow.  We begin to gain understanding.  And then suddenly we don’t seem to grow anymore.  Things don’t seem to happen.  We’re not moving ahead.  We get uptight.  We begin to ask, “What’s wrong?”  Once again, we’ve run into a closed door.

To speed your development, to begin opening the door, just say, “Thank you, God.”  Say it a thousand times for everything you have.  “Thank you, God, for this and that.”  Repeat it over and over, and the door will swing open.  But it will be a different door than the one you have been programming for yourself, the one you think is the right door.  By saying, “Thank you, God” and repeating it over and over – a thousand times, maybe a million times – another door will open that will be even more brilliant than one you could envision.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

You are a Creator

Because you have the Divine within, every thought and action is an instance of creation. When you react to an event with a thought such as, “Isn’t that awful” or “Isn’t that a shame,”you are creating – and in this case you are creating negatives. We have all sorts of thoughts going on in our heads: “Why did she do that?...I thought you were going to….” These create negatives that affect not only people but also plants, animals, the atmosphere, and the earth itself. These negatives travel throughout the whole universe, affecting everything that is.

You are creating every moment of your existence. You can create positive or negative energy. So create only Light, only Love, only Life. When you declare there is only Life, you alter the course of events. (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Living the Divine

How can you be caught up in the ways and things of this world when there is Divine order – beauty and wonders far beyond your current ability to understand?  Living the Divine way is the only way to live.  Declare, “I see the living Christ.”  Once you start with that, life begins in a new way.  Your body instantly responds and begins to heal itself.  You can learn to see inside your own body.  The colors and the magnificence inside of it are really great.  To see rainbows inside of you is fantastic.  You can get caught up with that movie alone for months.  It is so fantastic.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Healing

The desire to heal is innate in all of mankind.  Deep down, everyone would like to heal.  We think that the ability to heal is limited only to certain people and that it is a gift.  But Jesus said, “The things I do, you can do, and greater.”  He didn’t say anything about healing being a gift.  It is a reality, a truth, that anyone can heal.  You have the ability to heal.    (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Your Family

You selected the family into which you were born.  You chose this family to experience relationships with these specific family members and to learn how to love Divinely.  You chose your family so you would experience whatever is necessary for you to accomplish your Divine mission on Earth.  Your family has been a proving ground.  Your acceptance of these family relationships as being Divine is fundamental.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Living Prayer

In pursuing a life of prayer, you do not have to become different.  As Jim put it, “You are not required to become holy or different in order to reach a Divine state of being.  You can just be you, just as you are.  Infuse life with prayer.  Every moment was an opportunity for prayer.  To those who said, “I have no time for prayer,” his response was, “You have plenty of time.”  Walking, driving, answering the phone, scrubbing the floor – any activity that did not require all of your mental capacity was an opportunity for prayer.   (from Leading a Life of Prayer)
