You are a Creator

Because you have the Divine within, every thought and action is an instance of creation. When you react to an event with a thought such as, “Isn’t that awful” or “Isn’t that a shame,”you are creating – and in this case you are creating negatives. We have all sorts of thoughts going on in our heads: “Why did she do that?...I thought you were going to….” These create negatives that affect not only people but also plants, animals, the atmosphere, and the earth itself. These negatives travel throughout the whole universe, affecting everything that is.

You are creating every moment of your existence. You can create positive or negative energy. So create only Light, only Love, only Life. When you declare there is only Life, you alter the course of events. (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Living the Divine

How can you be caught up in the ways and things of this world when there is Divine order – beauty and wonders far beyond your current ability to understand?  Living the Divine way is the only way to live.  Declare, “I see the living Christ.”  Once you start with that, life begins in a new way.  Your body instantly responds and begins to heal itself.  You can learn to see inside your own body.  The colors and the magnificence inside of it are really great.  To see rainbows inside of you is fantastic.  You can get caught up with that movie alone for months.  It is so fantastic.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Healing

The desire to heal is innate in all of mankind.  Deep down, everyone would like to heal.  We think that the ability to heal is limited only to certain people and that it is a gift.  But Jesus said, “The things I do, you can do, and greater.”  He didn’t say anything about healing being a gift.  It is a reality, a truth, that anyone can heal.  You have the ability to heal.    (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Your Family

You selected the family into which you were born.  You chose this family to experience relationships with these specific family members and to learn how to love Divinely.  You chose your family so you would experience whatever is necessary for you to accomplish your Divine mission on Earth.  Your family has been a proving ground.  Your acceptance of these family relationships as being Divine is fundamental.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Living Prayer

In pursuing a life of prayer, you do not have to become different.  As Jim put it, “You are not required to become holy or different in order to reach a Divine state of being.  You can just be you, just as you are.  Infuse life with prayer.  Every moment was an opportunity for prayer.  To those who said, “I have no time for prayer,” his response was, “You have plenty of time.”  Walking, driving, answering the phone, scrubbing the floor – any activity that did not require all of your mental capacity was an opportunity for prayer.   (from Leading a Life of Prayer)
