Loving Yourself

Declare, many times every day, “I love me.  I love the total me.”   If you had done this every day of your life from the moment you were born, you would be a different being.  But start now.  Say, “I love me.  I love the total me” one hundred times a day.  Then, declare, over and over, “I am fantastic.  I am a really great person.”  You can say that to yourself, but if anyone asks you how you feel, just reply, “Fantastic!” – no matter how sick you are.  The body complies with whatever you declare.  All these years you’ve been rejecting your body.  Now you need to work hard to change both your conscious and subconscious thoughts.

The next step is to love every part of your body: “I love my eyes.  I love my brain.  I love my feet.  I love my stomach.  I love my liver.”  Do this every day and you will be renewed and revitalized.  You are loving yourself Divinely, and the power of this can change every part of you.  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

The Christ Within

As Jesus showed us, a Christed being is different from one who wants everything for self.  The Christed being has broken free of self.  The Christed being serves all of mankind.  This is the key to becoming the Christ.

You can begin being the Christ by saying silently, “The Christ is now alive and well in me, whole and complete.  The Christ in me is accomplishing my Divine mission.  The Christ in me is accomplishing this Divine mission, which is good for all of man.”  As soon as we begin to help all of man, we start to become the Christ.

Another prayer for declaring the Christ within is: “The Christ in me fills my being with Light and Love.  The Christ in me fills everyone with Light and Love.  The Christ in each of us merges us with each other.  We are One.  And from this Oneness, the Christ fills Earth with Light and Love.  The Christ fills the universe with Light and Love.  The Christ brings Oneness with the Creator, with the Creator in each one.” (from Leading a Life of Prayer)

Decision Making

Even simple decisions -  Should I go to the right?  To the left?  Or straight? - let even these be decisions from the Divine within.  Every day you are making decisions that seem to affect only you.  But if you go about this haphazardly, you may have missed a Divine opportunity.

When decisions will affect others dramatically, these decisions must come from deep prayer, rather than from selfish desires or self-aggrandizement.  A dramatic decision that affects other people can only be rendered after much prayer and consideration, including input from people attuned to other possibilities, people who are on the pathway to the Christ.

Get in the flow of the River of Life in advance of taking an action.  All will benefit in a fantastic way. Everything you do should be of a Divine nature.  Every moment is a Divine moment.  Every decision is an important, fantastic decision.    Everything is important.  Every breath you take is Divine.

With this perspective, there is a deep knowing of, “I am in the right place at the right time, doing and saying the right thing for the good of all.”  (from Leading a Life of Prayer)
